Service Description

What we do: Over the four sessions (1/week) we’ll work our way deeper into what it really means to practice Compassion for ourselves. The aim is to decrease the roots of your suffering (craving, desire, attachment). We'll do this by training the mind to: *develop awareness *deep self-reflection and thought analysis *expand Self-compassion We’ll examine Compassion – what it is, why should we care, and how we cultivate it. We’ll look into ourselves to identify the mental blockages within that prevent us from being compassionate to ourselves (and others). We’ll unlock our compassionate potential through the use of a variety of mindfulness techniques from Buddhism to clinical psychology. We’ll gain a deeper understanding of our own selves: How our minds work, how we structure our thoughts, emotions and actions, and become aware of habitual patterns that we may be trapped in but are completely unaware. You may notice: ~ Increased mental space/capacity ~ ~ Increased enjoyment in life ~ ~ Increased presence in the moment ~ ~ Increased intentional living (no longer feeling ‘held-back’) ~ ~ Freedom to direct all energy toward what you find most meaningful/important ~ Price: $17.50/week ($70 for whole course), bookings required, Limited to 12. Prices are always guidelines and I'm happy to discuss alternative exchange options. Dates/Times: First course was run Feb-March 2022 Additional courses will run on an interest basis - once we have 4 people interested, a date and time will be set that suits all four people and then promoted to attract up to a maximum of 12 participants.
